        Masterpieces of Calligraphy: Special Collections of Painting and Calligraphy Treasures in the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties

        This book is based on the ancient paintings and calligraphy works collected by Zhejiang Provincial Museum, containing selected, precious paintings and calligraphy of the Tang, Song, Yuan, and Ming Dynasties from many cultural relics collection institutions in Zhejiang Province. From the graceful and peaceful writing of the Tang Dynasty to the clear and concise landscape albums of Ma Yuan and Xia Gui in the Southern Song Dynasty, from Huang Gongwang's Fuchun Mountain Residence in the Yuan Dynasty to Xu Wei's Ink painting in the late Ming Dynasty, the 134 exhibits not only outline the development of Chinese calligraphy and painting history from Tang to Ming, but focus on the famous painting and calligraphy masters and art schools in Zhejiang, highlighting the splendor of fine arts in Zhejiang that has been shining for thousands of years.
